Project 3

Research and Concept:

Richard Serra, a modern artist, who created sculptures out of mostly iron or metal forms, and also created short films, is the artist I am researching. His works are very smooth and very simple minimalist yet direct and to the point. I enjoy looking at his works, the curves and the way he addresses his scultures. His work has inspired me to create a simple room in a part or my dream house or place of living. Having simple and modern shapes that express the sophisticated curvature that Serra introduced in his scuptures is what I intend on doing for my concept and digital sculpture as well. Doing this from my point of view, I will model and create a simple room with my variations and ideas on how it will look.
